Guerlain Perfumes and Cosmetics: a legend in the world of cosmetics and perfumes. Guerlain, the legendary French brand of perfumes, skincare and make-up, is one of the most famous brands in the world and one of the oldest, with a tradition of over 180 years. It was founded in 1828 by Pierre François Pascal Guerlain. In his first shop in Paris, he soon began selling his own eau de toilette, fragrances and cosmetics. By the mid-19th century, Guerlain was one of the most sought-after perfumers in the French capital, creating exclusive, customised perfumes, such as Eau de Cologne Impériale for Empress Eugenie, wife of Napoleon III.

Over time, Guerlain gained clients in most of the European royal courts, such as Queen Victoria, the Spanish Queen Isabella and the Austrian Empress Sissi. Until 1994, the brand remained a family business, led for several generations by the descendants of Pierre Guerlain. The group then passed to Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy, but its fame did not fade. Each product in the very wide Guerlain range continues to be a guarantee of the highest quality. Since 1860, over 200 perfumes for men and women have been created under the Guerlain brand.
